EndNote: Creating stand-alone bibliographies

 EndNote provides three ways  to create a stand-alone bibliography

Copy Formatted/Paste Method

  1. Select the Output Style you wish to use for your bibliography list.
  2. Select the references you want to include in your bibliography (Hold down the control key to select multiple references.).
  3. .Go to References Menu and select Copy Formatted Reference.
  4. Open your document and paste the references into the Word document

Note: This will give you a plain-text bibliography and can not be updated in Word using the EndNote tools.
