Standards, building codes and patents overview

Standards are documents that outline specifications, procedures and guidelines in a range of fields and industries. Australian Standards documents are available via the Techstreet datatabase

Building Codes are regulatory frameworks for the building industry, available through the the National Construction Code (NCC) website

Patents are licences given for a set period, excluding others from reuse or resale of an idea, invention etc. Use the Australian Government's AusPat Quick Search
