Informit

Setting up a personal account gives you access to My Account on Informit. This lets you:

• save searches and re-run them at regular intervals to find new content
• set alerts for new content in specific journals or book series
• track when individual articles are cited by other publications within Informit
• save favourite articles, and
• share contents 

Register for a My Account on Informit using the online sign up form

Step 1. Click on the Login | Register tab on the top right corner of the database screen to create your profile. 

Step 2. Click on Individual Login | Register 
             If you login using Holmesglen email, this dialogue box won't be shown on screen. You will be redirect to Step 3 automatically.

Step 3. Use your preferred login (e.g. Google, Microsoft etc.) to create your personal account. Update your profile and you will receive a confirmation after you complete the registration.

Step 4: Once registered, you can login and access to the My Account area (click your username on the top right hand corner) and view your personalisation options such as saved searches, alerts and favourites.

If you register using your Holmesglen email, you will automatically be associated with Holmesglen and given to access to content to which Holmesglen has a subscription. The institutional account pop-up window therefore won't be displayed. If you log in to Informit successfully, a Holmesglen logo will be appeared on the top right-hand corner.
