FileOpen plug-in

To view standards, the FileOpen plug-in must be installed on your PC or device. This is a free Adobe approved plug-in which allows you to open protected PDF documents.

On campus

The FileOpen plug-in can be installed from My Applications or ZenWorks (Library Resources folder)

Note: If using a thin client PC, FileOpen will be automatically installed to work with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

Off campus and own devices

FileOpen plug-in for Windows/Mac/Linux and FileOpen Viewer for iOS/Android are available online and free to download.

Select the appropriate installer from the list.

Adobe PDF reader

To view secured standards from Techstreet you will need a supported PDF Reader; either Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (paid version) or Acrobat Reader (free version)

On campus

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC can be installed from My Applications or ZenWorks (Library Resources folder)

Off campus and own devices

Download Acrobat Reader (free)

Sign in to Adobe Reader

You may be prompted to sign in to use Adobe products. If so, type in your Holmeglen email adress and associated password.
