Having trouble viewing or downloading standards? View the Troubleshooting section.
In the document viewer, click the download button.
The PDF will be saved to your device. You will need to have the FileOpen plugin and Adobe Reader installed in order to open the file.
Find the PDF file in your Downloads folder. Right click on it and select Open With: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Downloaded standards expire after 30 days. However you are welcome to re-download them as many times as you need.
Please note: To view downloaded standards, you may need to install the FileOpen plugin on your device. See this page for details.
Because standards are protected, the PDF version cannot be opened in the browser. If you cannot open a downloaded standard, update your Site Settings in Google Chrome so that PDFs are downloaded to your desktop, where you can open them with an Adobe Acrobat program.
1. Click on the menu option (3 dots) in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then select Settings.
2. A settings options screen will load. Scroll down to find the “Privacy and security" section.
3. Click on “Site Settings".
4. The page will expand with more settings. Scroll down to find “PDF documents” and click on that.
5. Find “Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome” and enable this option. The setting should switch from gray to blue.
6. Go to your downloads folder, right click on the PDF standard and select Open With: Adobe Acrobat DC or Adobe Acrobat Reader.
