Exporting citations from EBSCO into EndNote

After you have completed your search and found relevant articles you want export

1. Click on the title of the article you wish to export to EndnoteWeb

2. Select Export from the Tools menu on the right

3. The Export Manager menu will appear on your screen

4. Select Direct Export to EndnoteWeb and click Save

5. If you are not already logged in to EndnoteWeb you will need to log in 

6. Endnote will tell you how many articles have been imported

7. The new references will be located in the Unfiled folder

Check your references for accuracy. You may need to manually edit them.

Citing and referencing sources

EBSCO databases can show you how to cite the resources you have found.

1. Click on the Cite button to the left of the article title 

2. The citation format screen will include a number of different citation styles including APA and Australian Harvard. 

3. you can cut and paste the citation into your work.

Note: you must check the citations to ensure that they are formatted correctly for Holmesglen.
Please check with your teacher to confirm which reference style is used for your course. 

Saving and sharing searches or citations

To save searches or citations you first need to create a personal account in EBSCO
