How to borrow?

You can place a hold on up to 5 items.
Find the item you would like to place on hold in the Library catalogue.
Alternatively, you can visit or call one of the campus libraries and ask the Library staff to place a hold for you.
Borrowed items can be returned to any Holmesglen Library branch.
You will receive an email letting you know that your hold is available for you to collect from the branch you selected. You will have 7 days to collect the item before it goes back on the shelves. Items can be picked up from the Library service desk.

The service of inter-library loans is provided by the Library (campus wide) to those clients who require material not available from the Library, for work and course related purposes.
Resources can be requested on inter-library loan by teaching staff (free of charge) and normally takes up to 2 weeks to obtain from other libraries. To contact the inter-library loan officer, Angela Newland, phone 03 9209 5195 or email angela.newland@holmesglen.edu.au.

You will be required to pay the replacement cost for the lost items, as well as a $10.00 non-refundable processing fee per item, and any overdue fines. Failure to pay for lost or damaged materials may result in the suspension of borrowing.
