Holmesglen Library: borrowing information

CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Program

The CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Program is a scheme whereby staff and students of participating academic libraries are able to borrow material from other participating Victorian academic libraries.

Holmesglen's staff members and students are eligible to participate in this program. Enrolment at individual institutions is subject to the eligibility conditions applicable at each host library. Ask the Library staff if you are unsure about your eligibility.

Before you go to another participating academic library to enroll, we advise you to:

  • Have your current Holmesglen ID with you.
  • Make sure there are no outstanding fines or overdue items on your Holmesglen Library account.
  • Be enrolled in a tertiary level course that runs at least one year in duration.
  • Make sure your enrolment has been finalised and can be viewed on MY.HOLMESGLEN student portal.

For further information on your eligibility and responsibilities as a CAVAL borrower ask at the Library service desk or visit the Frequently Asked Question (FAQ's) on the CAVAL's website.
