Instructions for using Flipster ejournals (magazines)

Flipster login

To access the database go to the Library Databases A-Z listing.

You will be asked to log in with your Holmesglen email and password.

Access to the databases is restricted to Holmesglen students and staff. It is your responsibility to comply with the licensing conditions that apply to any database or online resource. You must comply with the Copyright Act. Database usage conditions may appear in the Copyright and or Terms and Conditions links of these websites.

What is Flipster?

Flipster is a collection of ejournals/magazines across numerous topics and subject areas that is full text accessible to Holmesglen students and staff. It is available to be read on your computer via a web browser or through the Flipster App across Apple and Android devices and the Kindle Fire tablet. 

Please log in using your Holmesglen email address and password.

Setting up your own personal account

Flipster allows you to create your own unique login. This login provides extra features, including saving your title searches and organising your sources in one place. 

Please note: You will need to log in to the database using your Holmesglen email and password before accessing your own account.

For information on how to cite online magazine articles, visit the newspaper and magazines pages on the

APA 7th or Holmesglen Harvard referencing guides.
