Orientation talk

Staff can invite their liaison librarian to present at their course orientation or during a class.

These guided tours provide a brief introduction to the Library’s services, resources and facilities.
- Class or individual bookings available.
- Tour of the Library and its facilities including borrowing, the collection, printing, computers, and more.
- Demonstrates the Library website including Library Search, electronic resources, library guides and more.

These sessions are designed to help students start the research process.

- Sessions are tailored to the assignment and skill level, to help students find relevant books, journal articles, reports, standards or statistics from our print and electronic collections.

Referencing / Referencing tool

These sessions are designed to help students cite and reference their sources.
- Class or individual bookings available.
- Introduction to referencing and plagiarism, or a more advanced session on Endnote software.
- Sessions are tailored to student skill level, and can provide timely support when assignments are due.
