No extra software required for reading ebooks online.
On the ebook's detailed record page, click Read Online.
Once the ebook loads, you can either scroll through the pages or select chapters via the book's Contents menu.
After five minutes, you will be prompted to select a "loan length". This is not a loan, it is just for statistics, and you can keep reading online without having to download. For more instructions on how to read and navigate the Ebook Central Reader, please view the ProQuest help guide.
To download an ebook for reading offline, you will require the following:
After downloading the required software, click on the Download Book icon to the left of the screen or the Download Book icon underneath the Availability heading.
Some books will allow you to download chapters at a time; this is specified under the Availability heading.

To download a chapter click on the download icon beside the chapter title. You can also download individual chapters by clicking the on the download button located under the book title. Here you can also select your preferred format. (PDF or EPUB). There may be a limited on how many pages/chapters you can download. This limit is set by the publisher.
To download an ebook from EBSCO, you will need to create a free MyEBSCO account and log in. Once this is done, you can select an PDF or EPUB ( listed under Access options) and select download.
