Enter keywords into the Library Search box and hit enter.
By default, the Library Search searches everything available in the Library, which includes items in the Library and the electronic resources.
Too many results? Use the result limiters on the left side of the page.
For example: date, resource type, branch and availability.
Too few results? Try searching again with different search terms.
To locate an item in the Library, such as a book, journal, or DVD, click on the title.
When the item has multiple versions, you will need to choose which version to view, click on the version title you would like to use.
Look under Get it then the Locations box to find the location information for the item.
Available means the item is available in that Library. If the item is available and unavailable at the same Library branch it will be listed twice with Available or Out of library below it: it means one or more copies are checked out, and one or more copies are still available to be borrowed.
Out of library means the item is checked out. If you want to wait for the item or have a copy from a different campus sent to your preferred campus, then place a hold.
Academic Reserve means the item is placed behind the Library counter and can be used in the Library for 3 hours only.
Main collection shelves mean the shelves in the Library. Use the call number (For example 658 ORG :9) to locate the item from the open shelves.
To access an ebook click Online access.
To access an electronic journal article click Full text available.
Click on the available link to access the article.
You will need your Holmesglen email and password to log into the electronic resources. (This is the same as your Brightspace login.)
