The State disability plan 2017-2020 tackles the negative attitudes and barriers that more than one million Victorians with a disability deal with on a daily basis. It sets out priorities for achieving inclusion under four key pillars - inclusive communities; health, housing and wellbeing; fairness and safety; contributing lives.

Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031 is Australia’s national disability policy framework. It is driving action at all levels of government to improve the lives of people with disability.

Independence Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that supports people with a disability or other physical need to achieve their optimal quality of life.
